Birmingham city centre hosted two fan zones with giant screens during the ICC Champions Trophy in June 2017. One fan zone was in Victoria Square at the top end of New Street, with a second in Edgbaston Street close to the Bullring.
The sites included food and drink, toilets and music from ZEE Sandwell & Birmingham Mela and was given full approval from Birmingham City Council as well as the police and ambulance services. Kingfisher beers was also on sale for a typical price of £4 to £4.50 per pint.
Collaboratively organised by the ICC, Visit Birmingham and Birmingham City Council, the Victoria Square fan park attracted 4,000 and Edgbaston Street 3,500.
Remarkable was proud to be working with Innovision to organise the fan zones.
